GoSense ColdChain

Cold conditions, visible in context.

Scope temperature and humidity monitoring across cold rooms, freezers, and refrigerated transport. Device, probe, range, placement, connectivity, and response are confirmed during discovery.

Operational scope

Build around the environment.

The current platform foundation supports timestamped temperature and humidity, alarm status, optional battery values, history-first persistence, and buffered recovery. Final device support is proposal-dependent.

Cold rooms & freezers

Map rooms, operating range, probe location, access, power, network, and response ownership.

Refrigerated transport

Assess power, connectivity, route behavior, buffering, mounting, and responsibility at hand-off points.

Evidence & workflow

Review chronology and approved exceptions; scope an ERP or quality workflow only after the rule and responsible reviewer are defined.

Survey first

Place the right device in the right condition.

  • Temperature range and expected transitions
  • Indoor, outdoor, washdown, and enclosure needs
  • Probe type, cable route, mounting, and calibration requirements
  • Wi-Fi, cellular, Ethernet, or mixed connectivity
  • Alert review and recovery procedure

Compliance boundary

ColdChain can support audit-ready records within an approved deployment. It does not provide automatic HACCP, GDP, or other compliance certification.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does monitoring certify compliance?

No. Monitoring records support operational review and audits. Compliance depends on the applicable requirements and your wider operating process.

Can it cover refrigerated vehicles?

Yes, as a separately checked scope: power, mounting, coverage along the route and what happens when the vehicle is out of signal.

What happens if the connection drops?

Readings buffered on the device are recovered through a separate path and shown as recovered history, not as live data. The limits are set out in the proposal.

Where should probes be placed?

Placement follows a survey of each room: airflow, door position, product load and the range you need to hold.
